Constance’s fascination and passion for wildlife and nature began at a very young age. Today, as a long time “birder”, and amateur naturalist, she spends as much time outdoors as possible, exploring and observing the natural world.
Constance considers herself a wildlife portrait photographer. Her interest is to make more visible, the intrinsic beauty of wildlife, plants, insects and their environments. In seeing wild things as individuals and telling their story through photography, she hopes to bring people to a deeper appreciation of their intrinsic worth……to see each individual being important. To portray that each life matters.
In doing so, her personal mission is to move people to care for the environment, protect plants, animals, insects and maintain healthy air and water systems. She believes that in caring for them, we care for ourselves.
A relative newcomer to photography, all of Connie’s photos are taken with care and concern not to disturb or stress her subjects. No baiting techniques are used to capture images. Unless otherwise noted, all photos are taken in the wild.
